Background

Kelly Lynn

Kelly is a certified Executive Coach with over 20 years of coaching and professional development experience.

During her 9 years at McKinsey & Co., Kelly advised and coached consultants during all facets of their career path.  For two years, Kelly led the Firm’s Parent and Reboarding Program for consultants in North America.  Kelly’s coaching focused on Parental, Health and Military leaves of absence, where she provided one-on-one coaching through different phases of the career journey, in addition to acting as the subject matter expert for multiple departments on these topics.

“The landscape from the Professional Development seat involves multiple views: the company’s goals, market conditions and performance expectations.  Holding these next to each person’s major life events has provided me with a kaleidoscope view rather than a lens.”

Prior to this role, Kelly was the East Coast talent lead for the Firm’s Technology and Media Practice, where she guided consultants from early management roles through to senior partner elections. As the Sector lead for “TMT”, Kelly oversaw the evaluation processes, and handled staffing, diversity initiatives, team building and training programs.

Kelly has extensive law firm experience, most recently as a Professional Development Manager at Davis Polk & Wardell LLP, where Kelly spent 11 years overseeing career and development support for the Firm’s Banking and Capital Markets Practices.  Prior to Davis Polk, Kelly worked as a document specialist in the Legal Department at Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc., where she handled regulatory inquiries and coordinated with the Firm’s business units, outside counsel, and regulatory agencies including the NYSE, SEC and DOJ.
